  • Upload or store content, including user directories, event materials, or prayer requests
  • Provide payment and billing information
  • Participate in surveys, feedback requests, or customer support

The information we collect includes:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and postal address
  • Organization or church name and role
  • Payment and billing information (processed securely through third-party processors)
  • Content you upload, including names and contact information of church members or event attendees
  • Communication preferences and account settings

b. Information About Your Organization. To use trellisgo, you may provide us with information about your organization, such as its name, type (e.g., church, ministry, nonprofit), and size.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

When you access or use the App, we automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device information (such as device type, operating system, browser type, and unique device identifiers)
  • Log information (such as your IP address, access times, browser failure information, and the page you visited before you came to our App)
  • Usage data (such as how you use the App, what features you access, and how you interact with content)
  • Location data (such as general location based on IP address; we may also collect precise location data with your consent for certain features)

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information through:

  • Direct interactions: When you create an account, fill out a form, make a purchase, or communicate with us
  • Automated technologies: Cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies as described in section 13
  • Third parties: Analytics providers, payment processors, and other service partners

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, improve, and optimize the App and our services
  • Process transactions and send related information, including invoices and receipts
  • Send technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages
  • Communicate with you about products, services, offers, promotions, events, and events available to you
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
  • Monitor and analyze usage, trends, or trends to improve the App
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of trellisgo and others
  • Personalize your experience on the App and deliver content tailored to your interests
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies

5. Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With your consent: We may share your information with third parties when you have your consent to do so
  • With your organization's administrators: Certain information you provide may be visible to administrators of your organization within the App
  • With service providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, and customer service
  • For legal reasons: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so, to comply with applicable law, or to cooperate with law enforcement or other government officials
  • To protect rights: We may disclose information to protect against fraud, abuse, or threats of physical harm
  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
  • With your organization: Information you enter into the App (such as member directories, event registrations, or prayer requests) may be visible to other members of your organization who have access to that data

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from access, alteration, disclosure, or unauthorized destruction. This includes:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL technology
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest
  • Regular security assessments and monitoring
  • Access controls and authentication requirements
  • Regular backups and disaster recovery procedures

However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain log information for up to two years. When we no longer need your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention policies.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at connect@educatorai.com.

Minors' Data in Ministry Contexts: Because trellisgo is often used by churches and ministries to manage information about youth and children's programs, adult users (including church administrators, staff, and parents/legal guardians) may input data relating to minors. Such adults must have explicit authority or parental consent before entering any minor's information. You acknowledge that by entering information about a minor, you represent that you have the legal right and necessary permissions to do so.

9. California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users of our App that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us at connect@educatorai.com.

Additionally, California law requires operators of websites or online services that collect personal information from or about California consumers who use or visit their websites or online services to disclose certain information, including what categories of personal information they collect and the categories of third parties with whom they share it, as well as the categories of personal information they sell or share and the categories of third parties with whom they have shared that information during the preceding year. See "Do Not Track Signals" below for information about your California privacy rights regarding "Do Not Track" browser settings.

10. CCPA Disclosure

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights regarding our collection and use of your personal information. These rights include:

  • Right to know: You can request information about the categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling your personal information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it
  • Right to deletion: You can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
  • Right to opt-out: You can opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information
  • Right to correct: You can request that we correct any inaccurate personal information we have about you
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights

To make a request, please contact us using the information in section 17 below. We will respond to your request within 45 days of its receipt. If we cannot complete your request within 45 days, we will inform you of the extension and the reason why, and we will complete our response within 90 days of initial receipt.

11. Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers are equipped with a "Do Not Track" or "DNT" feature that sends a signal out as part of the HTTP request for the page that you are viewing. Currently, there is no common standard for how companies respond to that signal. Therefore, we do not currently respond to web browser DNT signals. However, we commit to abiding by whatever standard becomes the norm if and when the U.S. Department of Commerce or other relevant regulatory body establishes one.

You can manage your cookie preferences and opt out of certain cookie use by adjusting your browser settings. See section 13 (Cookies) for more information.

12. EU GDPR Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These rights include:

  • Right of access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data
  • Right to rectification: You have the right to request we correct any information you believe is inaccurate or complete information you believe is incomplete
  • Right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, where we are required to do so by law
  • Right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, where we are required to do so by law
  • Right to data portability: You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit that data to a third party
  • Right to object: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data where we are relying on our legitimate interests as the basis for our processing

13. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and track information about your activity on the App. Cookies are data files placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: These cookies are necessary for the App to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are typically set in response to actions you have taken, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms
  • Analytics cookies: These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the App by collecting information in an anonymous form
  • Functionality cookies: These cookies allow the App to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, personalized features
  • Marketing cookies: These cookies may be set through our App by our advertising partners to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant ads on other websites

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of the App may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

15. Analytics

We may use third-party analytics services to analyze the use of our App. These services use cookies and other technologies to collect and analyze information about your use of the App. The information collected may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referral URLs, access times, and pages viewed. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the App, track user movement, and gather demographic information. We do not control how these third parties use your information. The current analytics services we use include:

  • Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our App. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. 16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. By continuing to access or use the App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
